kingless: (Oh you're smiling)

[Noctis was glad he'd stepped out of the room as he'd picked up the phone, there was clear evidence stirring in the front of his pants of exactly what he was imagining on the other end of the phone line. He took up a brisk walk, hoping no one would notice through the concerned look on his face. Prompto must have dialed by mistake. (Noctis' brain was in overdrive, concocting an elaborate scenario where Prompto had voice dialing set, was fantasizing something that involved moaning Noct's name) A quiet gasp, breathing, a clipped off moan tapering into a quiet whimper.

Noctis' conscious finally almost caught up with him, had him ready to end the call when finally Prompto's voice broke out over the speaker. If not for everything else he'd heard, Noctis would have assumed the boy had been crying.

I need your help, Noct.

It was such a desperate plea, Noct felt his heart honestly break a little.]

Are you okay? Prompto?

[Did he say something? About what he'd heard? About what it sounded like. Noctis kicked himself. What if something really was wrong, and here he'd been, a pervert about it instead. Absolutely thinking the wrong thing about the wrong person.

He'd never forgive himself if something had actually happened to Prompto. A heavy swirl of almost nameless emotions washed over Noct. No. He'd try harder, he'd do anything to protect that boy. Keep him closer to him.

At the same time, he was pretty sure he hadn't misinterpreted those sounds. Another broken moan, a little more desperate but tinged with the sort of frustration that Noctis hated to admit was becoming very relatable at the moment. Something would have to be very seriously wrong for that sound to not enter the lexicon of Noct's dreams.]

C'mon, Prompto. Talk to me.
